About moment zero
Possibility becomes action.
moment zero creates real-world Adventures. Your phone supports the experience, but the experience happens through the places you go, the things you notice, and the actions you take.
What is moment zero?
moment zero is the point in time when possibility becomes action.
It turns curiosity into something you do: go somewhere, follow a clue, find a Marker, notice a detail, solve a challenge, or discover what comes next.
How Adventures work
An Adventure is a guided experience built around objectives and discoveries. Each one is different, but you will generally:
- 1Find or open an Adventure, then read its overview and Rules.
- 2Join and follow your current objective, clue, and optional hint.
- 3Reach the place or checkpoint and find the physical or digital Marker.
- 4Check in to see what you discovered and continue.
- 5Complete the Adventure, with a score or leaderboard when that Adventure includes one.
What to expect
You will generally need a phone. Some Adventures move through real-world locations; others may be more relaxed or exploratory. You may follow clues, solve simple challenges, or scan QR codes and other supported Markers.
Checkpoints can reveal information, history, context, or another part of the experience. The overview and Rules for each Adventure explain what that particular experience requires.
Why moment zero?
To make exploration more active—to help you notice a place intentionally and do something instead of only reading or scrolling.
